Lumen Paris Tech Campus
Learn today, build tomorrow.
Welcome to a modern, innovative and eco-friendly school in the heart of Paris, where 4,500 curious students turn big ideas into real projects.
A school that shines
Lumen Paris Tech Campus is a futuristic secondary school for students who love science, engineering and creativity. Our campus is bright, spacious and welcoming, with transparent glass walls that let the daylight flow into every classroom.
At Lumen, learning is hands-on and sustainable. Students design robots, program artificial intelligence, build solar-powered prototypes and present their impressive projects to real companies. Teachers are friendly, ambitious and always ready to help.
Our logo
The golden sun is our knowledge and our energy. The blue waves are the river Seine, which flows beside our campus.
Our mission
We want every student to become a creative, responsible and independent citizen of the future. We believe that technology is only useful when it helps people and protects the planet.
The school
Our school is located in the heart of Paris, on the banks of the Seine, near the Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand. It has got three impressive glass towers of twelve floors each, linked by a spacious garden bridge. There are 4,500 students and 320 teachers on the campus.
It looks like a giant crystal garden: the façades are covered with plants and solar glass that shine in the sun. The building is designed to produce more energy than it uses, and to recycle all of its rainwater. Inside, every classroom is comfortable, quiet and state-of-the-art.

Technology in our daily life
LUMI, the AI assistant
Students ask LUMI questions, get personal exercises and receive help with their homework at any time.
Helper robots
Small robots guide visitors, carry equipment in the labs and help students practise programming.
VR headsets
We use them to visit ancient Rome, explore the human body or test a building before it is built.
3D printers
Students print prototypes, spare parts for robots and models of their own inventions.
Interactive smartboards
Teachers and students draw, share files and work together on the same screen, even from home.
Drones
Drones are used to learn programming, to map the campus and to take photos of our gardens.
Solar panels
They cover the roofs and façades and produce clean electricity for the whole campus.
Connected lockers
Students open their locker with a smart badge, and the locker tells them which books or tools they need.
Smart energy sensors
They adjust the light and the heating in each room, so we never waste energy.
Student life
Life at Lumen is exciting, inclusive and full of colourful events. After class, students can join more than 60 clubs: robotics, coding, theatre, photography, debate, ecology and many more.
Every year, each class goes on a school trip: for example to the CERN laboratory in Switzerland, to a solar power plant in Spain or to a technology fair in Tokyo.
Clubs, sports and places to relax
Green Cafeteria
